Who this covers

This policy applies to the akeyno.com website and to the browser extensions, applications, and utilities published under the Akeyno name.

Akeyno is the data controller for the limited processing described here. You can reach us at support@akeyno.com with any question about this policy or your data.

Our software

Akeyno extensions and applications are built to work entirely on your device. As a rule they do not send your data anywhere, because they do not send data at all.

Specifically, our software does not:

• collect names, email addresses, or other identifying information;
• record your browsing history, page content, or keystrokes;
• include analytics, telemetry, crash reporting, or advertising code;
• require an account, a login, or a subscription to function.

Configuration you create — preferences, rules, and lists — is written to your browser's or operating system's own local storage. It stays on that device, is readable only by the software you installed it for, and is deleted when you uninstall.

If a future Akeyno product ever needs to send data somewhere to do its job, that product will say so plainly in its own store listing and in this policy before it ships. It will not happen quietly in an update.

This website

akeyno.com is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser, and runs no analytics, fingerprinting, or advertising scripts.

The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes standard request information — including your IP address — in order to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. That processing is Cloudflare's, under their own terms, and we do not receive or retain visitor-level records from it.

Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers when you view a page. Google receives your IP address as part of that request.

When you contact us

If you email support@akeyno.com, we receive whatever you choose to put in that message, along with your email address. We use it to answer you and nothing else.

Support mail is held with our email provider for as long as it is useful for handling the request and any follow-up. Ask us to delete a thread and we will.

Distribution platforms

Software published through a store — such as Mozilla Add-ons — is downloaded from that store's servers, not ours. The store operator collects its own installation and usage statistics under its own privacy policy, and shares only aggregate figures with us. We never see who installed what.

Sharing and selling

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. There is no data to sell.

We would disclose information only where legally compelled to, and only what the law actually requires.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete personal data an organisation holds about you, and to object to its processing.

In practice we hold almost nothing: for most people the only record is a support email, if you have sent one. Write to support@akeyno.com and we will confirm what exists and act on your request.

Children

Our software is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it, and material changes will be described here rather than slipped in silently. The version you are reading is the current one.
